The Bright Side

Even when things don’t go as planned, even when the path appears to be crooked as opposed to straight, know that there is a greater purpose and a perfect plan that worketh in us.

See the Brighter Side…

2 Cor 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of Glory..

Push harder, stand longer, pray more fervently and know that “The Prayers of the Righteous Availeth Much”.

Endurance is key in this hour.

Diligent In The Way,

Consuming Fire – That you may look more like HIM

That you may look more like Him

Websters defines “Refining” as the process of purification.  In order to purify anything, it must be taken through a process.  That process requires the stretching, stripping and removing away of some things so that the finished product can complete its “Perfect Work”.

In this season – even as doors are opened – there will be a refining process.  The process will be likened unto a consuming fire brought to purge and remove everything that is not useful.  Faith, Fire and Fervency are needed to walk through the open door, but even as you apply your Faith, Fire and Fervency, know that perfection and refining is at work.  In some cases, this will require a change of environment, change of mindset, change of attitude and change of heart.  This also requires Bulldog Tenacity – But also Humility in obtaining the Goods.  Be it the fight is in the spiritual but playing out in the natural, know that both can be applied at the same time.

Diligent In The Way!

Faith, Fire and Fervency.

So many of us know what we’re supposed to be doing, but don’t have the wherewithal, the endurance or the momentum to even get started.

Many are tied to the past of childhood hurt, abuse, divorce, separation, loss of income, loss of a loved one – and the list goes on.  Healing of your past hurt allows you to aid in the healing of another.

God has given us all that we need to succeed in this life. His word says that He will supply our every need and will do exceedingly and abundantly above all we could ask or think.  Seek Him first and all else will be provided.

In this season many doors have been opened.  But these doors require something of you. They require more faith, more fire and more fervency. They require you to reach back and pull someone else along.  They require you to be your brother and your sisters keeper.  What is life if we aren’t using it for the greater good of the Kingdom and using the Word and Gods principles to shape and mold the lives of others.  In order to obtain the goods, something more is required of you.  More Faith, More Fire, More Fervency.  Aid in the shaping of others and He will aid in the shaping of you.

Choose to See The Good

Some of us see the rose amid the bushes.  Others of us always seem to prick ourselves on the thorns within the bushes (1).

What we do, is determined by what we see.  Choose to see the very best in every situation, even when situations appear to be blocking your area of view.

Choose To See Good, Choose To Love and In Everything Give Thanks

After all situations and circumstances come to make us better.  They come to humble us and they come to cause our eyes to open and change to occur.

Choose To See Good – Choose Love

Keep Looking Forward

Keep Looking Forward

This next season is a season of freedom and liberty says God. This next season is a season of laughter and great joy. But know that as you walk through and are in transition into this next season, old issues, old desires, things of the past will try to resurface in an attempt to take your eyes off of me. In an attempt to keep you bound.  As I am perfecting you and preparing you for your destined work, know that I am with you, know that you have all of the tools in your toolbox to make it through.  Anything that is not of me will be pruned and anything that brings me glory will grow.

Greater am I, that is within you than he that is within the world.  Dominion, Power and Blessings are your portion.  Keep moving forward and know that I have your best interest at heart.  The enemy desires to sift you as wheat, but Jesus Christ, your Chief Intercessor has prayed that your faith fail you Not!

You have all you Need!

Do you Overstand?

By Kristi Lampley-Oliver

In a world of limitless possibilities of social media platforms, electronics, and technology we have become quite overwhelmed with the wealth of information available to us. We identify and accept that all of our gadgets allow us to be more efficient in one way or another. We text instead of talk, email instead of calling, without consideration of the effectiveness that verbal communication provides us. In a text or email, we can’t see expressions, feel compassion or hear tone. These conditions force us to make an interpretation of other’s intentions based on our own experiences. And we all know where that can lead us…..straight down the aisle of assumption, with a map of misunderstandings, to frequently visit the Continent of confusion. By not speaking directly to each other, we lose a very intimate and important element of the intended message.

The power of words resonates all around us; they are eternal! The Word tells us that God “spoke” the world into existence [Genesis 1:3], that there is the power of life and death in the tongue [Proverbs 18:21]. However, the Word also tells us that, we (God’s people) perish from a lack of knowledge [Hosea 4:6]. A lack of knowledge; how could this be in our world of information overload? Now, while I think that in some instances, silence can be golden and knowledge IS power, I don’t think that we truly overstand these gifts.

Allow me to sow a seed in your garden of wisdom……..OVERstanding is a term often used to indicate a level of comprehension higher than understanding. The distinction between OVERstanding and UNDERstanding is solely a matter of authority. When you are in a place of authority, you have the ability to become a catalyst for change. UNDERstanding can comprehend the Word of God, share it with others, but generally remains within the constraints of the natural world by not taking action to be a consistent doer of the Word. They look at the mountain and retreat to worry in private. OVERstanding comprehends the Word AND realizes that the ultimate design of God’s plan for our lives is perfect by removing the natural limits of what we think God’s intentions are (sounds familiar…) as well as takes action with blind faith to show others that the Word of God is alive and powerful. They speak to the mountain and tell it to move all while waiting in expectancy. You can attain by UNDERstanding, but can only sustain by OVERstanding.

I once read that, “Knowledge without comprehensive wisdom is just information and therefore utterly useless without overstanding and application.” God gave us power and authority over ALL the earth [Genesis 1:26] not just some or a few parts. So are you applying and using your God given authority in EVERY area of your life; spiritually, over your family, over your finances and in ALL of your circumstances?

With that, I challenge you to renew your mind, apply the Word of God in your life, feed your spirit, take authority, and MOVE THOSE MOUNTAINS! Stay on course and stand your ground. Speak life. For wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; discretion will watch over you, understanding will guard you [Proverbs 2:10-11]

So now do you overstand??

Do You Believe

In this season of Order, Establishment and Perfection, God requires of us a response.

Order comes with a cost, Being Established comes with a cost and Perfection comes with a cost.  Cost is defined as the amount paid or required in payment for a purchase.  We have areas in our lives that we need to change.   In order to perfect something you have to chisel away at the parts that are not needed, you have to mold and sculpt the design just fitting for the work required of it.  It simply means, Change is Required.

God says: In this season of perfection, know that I am changing and rearranging some things, all for My Glory and all for your benefit.  God says that I require of you a new belief system.  I require that you go in praising but that you come out thanking.  I require that you put on a new robe.  I today give you beauty for ashes and joy for sorrow.  As you put on your new garment, I require that you continue to believe and continue to have a heart of thanksgiving as I unfold the plans that I have for you.  In this time and season, know the your right on course, for perfection and order comes with a cost.  I know the plans that I have for you and those plans require a new level from you.  A new level of prayer, a new level of praise, a new level of trust, a new level of expectation.  I have your best interest at heart.  Believe in this season that All Things Are New.  As you continue to draw closer to me, you shall see the full manifestation of my promises says God.

Do You Believe.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (NIV).

Change Begins With YOU

Proverbs 23:7 As a Man Thinketh in His Heart – So Is He.

A simple question for you today is:  What are you thinking?

“Thoughts” are a frame and pattern for our lives.

Job 3:25 says “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. “(KJV)

Are your thoughts always negative thoughts, are they woe as me thoughts or do your thoughts provide you with the fuel and momentum to “CHANGE”?  When you change, your surroundings change.  True change must take place inside before it can be reflected outside.  All other change is a false image that ultimately returns to “True Self”.  Water and Oil cannot flow out of the same cistern.

None are perfect and we could all benefit from change in some facet.  Whether it be in your marriage, with your children, on your job in your finances, change begins with you.  How you see yourself begins with you.  While it may have been patterned from what you saw as a child, you have the right and will to CHANGE.  You are exactly who you think you are.

“Watch your thoughts. They become words. Watch your words. They become deeds. Watch your deeds. They become habits. Watch your habits. They become character. Character is everything.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

(1)     Renew Your Mind

The bible tells us to “Renew our mind” This renewing has to be done on a daily basis.  Why, the first part of this scripture tells us to “Be not conformed to this world”.  The world is a corrupt place.  We are in this world but not OF this world.  So much happens around us that we are to RENEW our mind, be Christ Centered and continue to fulfill our walk in this life.

(2)     Change Your Surroundings.

Choose your friends wisely.  You are who you hang around.  Have a mentor.  You may have more than one mentor for a different area of your life.

(3)     See Yourself Happy.

Take the necessary steps to cultivate a positive belief system even in a negative world.  Invest in building you.

Your environment is your looking glass – You See what you Said.

Finish Your Course

Finish Your Course

Greetings All.  As we busy ourselves this weekend trying to hurry about to make ready for “Easter Sunday”, let me take a brief moment to state what this metaphorically means to me:  “Finish Your Course”.

Jesus paid the ultimate price for you and I.  He came, He died, He Rose and He’s Coming back again.

In His earthly walk, Christ “Finished His Course”.  Persecuted, Beaten, Stoned, Hung on a Cross, Buried in a tomb, Left for Dead, “He Got Up” – and He did it all for you and I.  Even through His trials, He completed what He set out to do.  Today I say to you:  Whatever it is that you have set out to do, whatever vision God has given you, whatever birthing room experience you may find yourself in right this moment, if you find yourself down, Get Back Up and “Finish Your Course”

The thief comes to steal our joy, our families, our health, our peace our everything, but Christ came to give us life and life more abundantly (John 10:10).

As we celebrate our Risen Savior, know that you get to choose your response.  Will you respond like Jesus did or will you respond in your own flesh.   Choose to Finish Your Course.  No competition, No Vanity, Not someone else’s assignment, No other path will you take but yours.

Finish Your Course

We have the KEYS to THE KINGDOM.  Dominion and Power was Granted.  Access Has Been Given.  Keep Walking – Keep Believing and FINISH YOUR COURSE.

He loves us and He knows the exact place we are in Him today.  Trust Him for direction, Trust Him with your very life.  Nothing can separate us from His Love.

We are more than Conquerors.  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:37-39 NIV).
