Total and Complete Surrender

Total and Complete Surrender

As we are in a season of “Open Doors” “Order” and “Perfection”, God says surrender all.  That which you think you have surrendered, you have not.  The very thing that you hold on to is the very thing that I want you to let go of so that this next work in your life is total, complete and lacking nothing.  God is unable to freely move and reign in the life of believers when we have false gods that we will not let go of.  Anything that you worship is what God asks you to surrender.  Whether it be a relationship, a job, a child, whether it be doubt in your abilities, whether it be an old habit or sin that keeps knocking at your door, God says surrender.  Surrender all and allow me to do my perfect work in you, total, complete and lacking nothing.  The next new, the next level, the next dimension requires “total surrender.”  God will provide….

Gen 22:2-14 He said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” So Abraham rose early in the morning, saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and his son Isaac. And he cut the wood for the burnt offering and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place from afar. Then Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; I and the boy will go over there and worship and come again to you.” And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son. And he took in his hand the fire and the knife. So they went both of them together. …

Webster defines surrender as: To give up, to abandon or relinquish control over.

As human beings it not within our own nature to naturally surrender.  Surrendering takes trust in the very thing that you are surrendering to.

Abraham’s trust in God was so sound that he simply followed the Lord’s direction and in the end said “The Lord will provide”.    Surrendering takes complete submission to that which is greater than us.

Who’s Job is it “Anyway”

Who’s Job is it “Anyway”

People who genuinely serve, simply have a heart to “serve”.  When it’s from the true heart of God, there are no motives, there aren’t any returns required and there isn’t an hidden agenda.  They simply enjoy “serving”.  And while there are no motives in their service, the return is oftentimes greater than the output.

When it comes to our brothers and sisters the goal should be to lift another up, to push to the next level and to see success in the eyes of others.

The questions for today are these:  Are you your brothers keepers simply because you enjoy seeing the success of others?  Do you serve simply because you obtain fulfillment from aiding in the lifting up of another? What is your agenda?

The other side of this seasons open door has more people in front of it than where you currently are.  There are more too help, more too love, more too seek to better understand.  There is more required of you – therefore as you advance to more – know that there is greater on the other side.  Luke 12:28 To whom much is given, much is required.

National Day of Prayer

National Day of Prayer – Who are you praying for?

Families, Children, Marriages, Our Nation, Healing, Deliverance, etc. etc. etc.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will  hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

The Bright Side

Even when things don’t go as planned, even when the path appears to be crooked as opposed to straight, know that there is a greater purpose and a perfect plan that worketh in us.

See the Brighter Side…

2 Cor 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of Glory..

Push harder, stand longer, pray more fervently and know that “The Prayers of the Righteous Availeth Much”.

Endurance is key in this hour.
